We walk you through every step to keep the project on budget.
Step 01
Request consult
We start with an initial phone conversation so I understand the room, the household and roughly where you want to land on budget before anyone drives anywhere.
Step 02
Decide reasonable budget and timeline
Then I come to the house for a walkthrough. I look at the space, we talk through what is bothering you about it, and I get a feel for what the project really involves.
Step 03
Sign agreement and pay retainer
From there we work through a layout plan and a rough budget together. This is the honest part. If the layout you want does not fit the number, you hear it now and not after demo.
Step 04
Begin layout and selections
I take you to my trusted vendors and help you make selections. Tile, cabinetry, fixtures, counters. You are not sent to a showroom alone with a list.
Step 05
Assemble final project quote
Once the selections are set, I put together the full project quote. One number, built from real prices, not an estimate that drifts.
Step 06
Order all fixtures and cabinetry
You sign the contract and we set the schedule.
Step 07
Schedule work once all items are received
We order everything and wait for it to arrive. We don't start the job until everything is ordered and ready, to minimize the downtime for you and your family.
Step 08
Complete the project and take pictures
Then the trades come in and we build it, with me managing the sequence and checking the work as it goes.
