Most bathrooms I look at are not failing, they are just laid out for a household that moved out twenty years ago. A tub nobody uses eating a third of the floor. A vanity too shallow to stand at. A shower in the darkest corner of the room. So we start with the layout, because moving a drain and choosing a tile are very different decisions and only one of them is easy to change later.
Once the layout is settled, I take you to my trusted vendors and we make the selections together. Tile, vanity, fixtures, glass, lighting. I am not a designer, but I have design experience and I know what a selection does to a budget before you fall in love with it. If a project needs a designer, I have a long list of talented interior designers and builders I can recommend.
Then the full project quote gets assembled, everything gets ordered, and only after it arrives do we schedule the work. We don't start the job until everything is ordered and ready to minimize the downtime for you and your family. A bathroom torn open waiting on a vanity that shipped late is the single worst part of a remodel, and it is avoidable.
